Another reversal or a lie? You decide

Secretary of State hopeful Mike Pompeo stated the obvious about Wikileaks on Thursday. His opinion was vastly different than the one he held during the presidential election.
Pompeo once tweeted from his now-defunct @RepMikePompeo account: "Need further proof that the fix was in from Pres. Obama on down? BUSTED: 19,252 Emails from DNC Leaked by Wikileaks."

During his Senate confirmation hearing on Thursday, Pompeo agreed Wikileaks is a non-state hostile intelligence service, often abetted by state actors such as Russia.

Asked why he'd tweet such a comment if he believed Wikileaks is a "non-state hostile intelligence service, often abetted by state actors such as Russia," Pompeo's response was predictable.

He said he didn't remember the tweet.

"I’d have to go back and take a look at that," he said.

Here, Mr. Pompeo, maybe this will jog your memory:

“Do you think WikiLeaks is a reliable source of information?” Senator Angus King (I-Maine) asked.

“I do not,” Pompeo responded. “I have never believed that WikiLeaks was a credible source of information.”

Never?

I mean, never?

Like ever?

It's a sad day in America when truth and ethical behavior no longer matter.

Trump's team either has the worst memory of any group of people in recorded history or they're a bunch of lying liars.
