Cell collection went pretty well on Thursday. It actually went far better and I spent far less time at the hospital than I did back in 2009 when I was preparing for my stem cell transplant.

Tomorrow starts my journey through CAR-T therapy in the hopes of once again putting my Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL) into remission and even possibly curing me of the disease.

Full Steam Ahead!
Today, Paulette and I met at University Hospital's Seidman Cancer Center downtown with my transplant team: Dr. Boughan and Dr. Kapoor and Ann Verde, who is my transplant coordinator. We followed that up with a visit to UH Geauga for what should be my final dose of chemotherapy before the real fun starts in 10 days.

Here I go again
Last week, I had both a PET Scan and a surgical biopsy to determine the extent of my cancer relapse. Today, we met with Dr. Friedman to get the results and to plan the course of action regarding treatment.
