Not that you needed any more proof that Donald Trump is an idiot--unless of course, you too are an idiot--but he certainly delivered it, yet again.
Remember when he was campaigning and he criticized Obama's foreign policy for announcing to our enemies our plans to attack?
Well, "David Dennison" did just that.
"President Trump put Syria and Russia on notice Wednesday morning, promising that missiles fired at Syria 'will be coming, nice and new and ‘smart!' — while also telling the Kremlin that it should not partner with a 'Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!'"
Yes, the idiot that also claimed taking the oil would have prevented ISIS from forming just announced to our enemies that we'll soon be striking!
Fascinating stuff.
This is on top of his failure to defeat ISIS in 30 days, as promised, and his lack of understanding of how ISIS generated revenue.
Trump was wrong when he said ISIS wouldn't have been able to operate without oil revenue.
This New York Times piece explains how ISIS generated millions and millions of dollars, separate from its oil revenue.
According to thousands of documents recently uncovered, ISIS raised money in a similar fashion to that of established governments.
"One of the keys to their success was their diversified revenue stream. The group drew its income from so many strands of the economy that airstrikes alone were not enough to cripple it.
"Ledgers, receipt books and monthly budgets describe how the militants monetized every inch of territory they conquered, taxing every bushel of wheat, every liter of sheep’s milk and every watermelon sold at markets they controlled. From agriculture alone, they reaped hundreds of millions of dollars. Contrary to popular perception, the group was self-financed, not dependent on external donors."
How in the world can any one person be this oblivious to the facts? It really takes a lot of effort to be this wrong on so many different topics.
Of course, nearly everything Trump says has to be walked back by his staff.
