Book Review: Hollywood

HollywoodHollywood by Charles Bukowski
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

"Hollywood" provides an interesting parallel between fact and fiction.

The book tells the tale of how Henry Chinaski's screenplay became the movie, "The Dance of Jim Beam." In reality, Charles Bukowski wrote the screenplay for the movie, "Barfly," starring Mickey Rourke and Faye Dunaway.

This book is a quick read and if you're a Bukowski fan, you'll enjoy it as much as any of his other works.
