Cell collection was a Success!

Cell collection went pretty well on Thursday. It actually went far better and I spent far less time at the hospital than I did back in 2009 when I was preparing for my stem cell transplant.

And so it begins...

Tomorrow starts my journey through CAR-T therapy in the hopes of once again putting my Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL) into remission and even possibly curing me of the disease.

Always listen to Her

Well, I learned a valuable lesson on Friday. Always listen to the wife.

Turning the Corner

Well, here we are, we've turned the corner and we're head straight for CAR-T Therapy.

Full Steam Ahead!

Today, Paulette and I met at University Hospital's Seidman Cancer Center downtown with my transplant team: Dr. Boughan and Dr. Kapoor and Ann Verde, who is my transplant coordinator. We followed that up with a visit to UH Geauga for what should be my final dose of chemotherapy before the real fun starts in 10 days.
