When humor isn't enough

As you all know, Roger Stone this week was sentenced to prison for crimes against the United States.
Among Stone's crimes were witness tampering and lying to investigators.

Of course, I had to have some fun with Stone's 40-month sentence, which I'll go ahead and assume will be commuted by Don the Con soon enough.

I posted this photo on Facebook with the caption, "Rare photo of the latest Trump associate leaving the courthouse after being sentenced to prison." I included the following hashtags: #LockHimUp #WitchHunt #DatsALottaWitches

Lock Him Up obviously references the favorite chant of stupid people who attend Trump rallies. The Witch Hunt is a nod to Mango Mussolini's excuses for his criming.

I tried to have some fun. I did.

Wouldn't you know the first comment was this:
"I sure that is not Poloisi ???"
Yes, that's a direct quote. But, of course, it is. We aren't dealing with the sharpest tools in the shed.

Somehow, these people--many of whom are the ones sharing Bible quotes and praising god--lose their shit when it comes to partisan politics.

They hate Nancy Pelosi. They hate Adam Schiff. They hate Obama. They hate Hillary Clinton.

You know what all of those people have in common? They haven't been sentenced to prison for crimes against the country.

Yet, here we are witnessing people deflect away from the real criminals, the actual people perpetrating crimes against our country.

Why?

Why do these people disrespect themselves this way?

Why do they believe they can be dishonest and somehow be forgiven by the God they say they believe in because they go to church on Sunday?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way.
